Rod Chamberlin MSFS
I am a California native, however, I was raised with mid-west values. My parents both grew up in Wisconsin and moved to California in 1953. They raised my brother, three sisters and I with the same values they grew up with-honesty, integrity, a strong work ethic and a sense of community.
My dad would often give us his pearls of wisdom such as “a few hours of free labor is worth more than thousands of dollars in advertising” or “you should conduct business and live life in such a way that you can always look everyone in the eye”.
I grew up in Long Beach California and have been living in South Orange County for over 25 years. My wonderful wife Lora and I are raising two beautiful girls, Sara and Rachel, with the same values we were raised with.
Being born and raised in Orange County, California, most of my time was spent outdoors with my family as a young child. My parents met as college rivals; my dad attended USC, and my mom UCLA. They raised me and my brother who are two years apart, having a built-in best-friend and ten years later having our sister join made us the dynamic trio. We were brought up with love, support, and the foundation of a strong work ethic, good morals, and honesty.
A few of the best memories as a family were spent camping where my family would get to disconnect from the rest of the world and reconnect with one another. Building lifelong memories that help me stay grounded and connected to the most important things.
Growing up in Orange County has given me an inside track to all the back trails as an avid mountain and road biker. My passion has been explaining the open road and getting into nature all the while staying true to spending time with the people I love.
I currently hold both the Series 7 & Series 66 licenses through LPL Financial.
At a young age, my parents instilled in me a love for the outdoors. Every day we tried to do something outside – whether that be running down to the beach to watch the sunset after school or hiking our local trails. We spent every weekend at the beach - fog or shine. Through this time spent outdoors, I learned perseverance, curiosity, and gratitude.
Curiosity and perseverance led me to Chamberlin & Associates and gratitude allowed to me enjoy every moment along the way. Prior to joining the team, I graduated from college in Nashville Tennessee, hiked a large portion of the Pacific Crest Trail, and earned my Paralegal Certificate.
I grew up in San Clemente and currently reside in Dana Point. I recently married my best friend, Louis. It was a beautiful night surrounded by all of our friends and loved ones. We look forward to the start of our lives together.
